Who you’re actually talking to
Ismail Mohamed Fareed. Web developer, Malé.
The person who replies is the person who builds it. No account manager, no sales layer, no brief lost on its way to a developer.
A one-person practice, deliberately
I’m not alone, and I’m also not forty people. LittleMan Dev is a one-person web development practice in the Maldives that scales up deliberately — designers and illustrators brought in by project, engineers I trust for scale and specialism — rather than a web design agency pretending to be one.
What that means in practice: decisions take minutes instead of meetings, your project is nobody’s second priority, and the person who quotes you is the person who writes the code and the person who hands it over.
What you get, and what you don’t
What you get
- One person who knows the whole system
- Direct answers, not ticket numbers
- Specialists added when the work needs them
- Honest scope, including “you don’t need that”
- The same person from first call to handover
What you don’t
- Invented headcount
- “Our team of experts”
- Basic / Pro / Premium packages
- Buzzwords standing in for decisions
- A junior quietly assigned to your build
How I work
I don’t start with a template. I start with the problem. Nothing over-engineered to sound impressive, nothing under-engineered to save me a week. Design is the product rather than decoration bolted on at the end; motion exists to show continuity and guide attention, never because something could move; and fast, accessible, secure and tested are part of the build rather than an upsell.
On AI, the honest version: yes, it writes a lot of the code, and no, that is not the part that matters. The spec, the data model and the architecture come first. Knowing what to reject is most of the skill, and nothing ships that I wouldn’t sign.

What I’ve built, and what I’m building
A corporate website for Go Construction Pvt Ltd, a Maldivian construction firm in Malé with nine years of built work. That one is live and handed over.
In progress: the Mosque Directory for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments — every mosque in the country, searchable, on a map, bilingual in Dhivehi and English and right-to-left throughout, with a role-based admin module for ministry staff. It is concept work and a demo on sample data at this stage, not a delivered system.
Beyond those: landing pages, business websites with a CMS, and custom web applications with real backends and admin panels. See the services, or what they cost.
