What I build

Web development services in the Maldives.

Five kinds of work, priced on what the thing has to do rather than how many pages it has. The line between them isn’t page count — it’s what the system is responsible for.

01 / Landing page design

One page, one job.

Built around a single purpose: a product, a campaign, an event, a launch. Simple in scope is not the same thing as cheap in execution.

02 / Business website development

Many pages, real content.

Business and directory websites with search, filtering, forms and a CMS you can operate yourself. Bilingual Dhivehi and English where you need it.

03 / Custom web application development

When the site becomes a system.

Software with accounts behind it: roles deciding who sees what, a data model designed before the screens, payments and the integrations the work actually depends on. Built to run an operation rather than describe one.

04 / E-commerce website development

Selling online, in the Maldives.

Product catalogues, carts, local payment gateways and delivery across Malé and the atolls — built around how Maldivian shops actually take orders.

05 / Guesthouse & resort websites

Bookings that come direct.

Sites for guesthouses, dive centres and small resorts, wired into the booking engine you already run — so more of the season gets sold on your own terms instead of an OTA's.

Government and institutional work

Institutional software has requirements ordinary commercial work does not: bilingual content, accessibility, audit trails, role separation, and a handover that survives the person who commissioned it moving on. That is not a separate service — it is web application development held to a standard, and it is worth asking whoever quotes you whether they have actually delivered it.

I am building the Mosque Directory for the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments: every mosque in the country, searchable, on a map, bilingual in Dhivehi and English and right-to-left throughout, with a role-based admin module for ministry staff. It is still in progress — what runs today is a demo on sample data, not a delivered platform.

How every project runs

The same six steps regardless of which service above you need. You don’t need a technical specification to start — say what you want and who it’s for, and the spec is something I write and you approve.

  1. Get in touch. Email, call, WhatsApp, Telegram or the chat.
  2. Describe it. What it does, who uses it, and your deadline.
  3. Requirements & spec. I write the scope down, so we agree on the same thing.
  4. Estimate & terms. A price for that scope, and a payment schedule.
  5. Development. You see progress at checkpoints, not at the end.
  6. Payment & handover. Final payment, then delivery of everything we agreed.

The technology comes after the understanding, never before it. Every project is quoted on scope — see what a website costs in the Maldives for real figures.
